HONESDALE, PA — Jim Donnelly, president/CEO of Wayne Bank, announced that the bank has continued to support the Wayne County Library with a corporate donation of $10,000 through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).
The Wayne County Library is one of seven libraries included in the Wayne Library Alliance (WLA). The WLA is a central organization created to manage and coordinate operations and services between independent libraries for financial support.
The gift was made possible on behalf of the EITC, which is offered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through the Department of Community and Economic Development.
“We are proud to continue our support of the Wayne County Library and the WLA through the EITC program this year,” Donnelly said. “The WLA relies on donations alongside county and state funding to offer essential services, including educational programs and online resources, to libraries and patrons across our community.”
“Supporting their mission to provide accessible educational opportunities aligns with our commitment to investing in the growth and future of our neighborhoods. We are honored to help make these resources available to everyone in Wayne County,” Donnelly continued.
